Faith Lutheran Church began in 1946 to serve the rapidly growing Grand Prairie area after World War II; the congregation grew rapidly under strong leadership into the 1980s. Once again, God is blessing Faith with growth as together we embracing new opportunities to bring the Gospel to new friends, even new cultures!

New friends visiting Faith will find many mature Christian friends who will welcome and encourage them in their faith-walk with Jesus. Our youth & children’s ministries are also growing and expanding, with a new children’s choir beginning, newly updated and professionally-staffed nursery, and exciting events planned for our youth and teens in the next few months.

Worship services at Faith embrace the Lutheran worship services, hymns, and liturgy familiar to many life-long Lutherans. But fresh new songs and creative sermons and children’s sermons help younger members – even those new to the Christian faith – to experience God’s Word in a new and exciting way.

As a result, Faith Lutheran is a comforting blend of tradition and newness, as the blessing and strength of mature faith and Christian love reach out to embrace young families and teens of all backgrounds.
